Reading time: 2 Minutes

The crisis rocking the Ogun state chapter of Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), may have taken a twist as some loyalists of former house of representatives member for Ikenne, Sagamu and Remo North Federal constituency in the Eight assembly, Hon Oladipupo Adebutu may have dump the Party for Action Alliance.

According to a report obtained by our correspondent has it that, the Action Alliance who was part of the Party given clean bill of health by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), after it deregistered 74 political parties for not meeting up the electoral guidelines, had already elected officers for all elective positions in the State, twenty local government areas and all the 236 wards in Ogun State.

The Officers who are mainly ‘Adebutu boys’ had been mobilising for members throughout the state in order to make the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, less attractive in the next elections.

It was also gathered that the Party which is considered as alternative to PDP may field candidates for all the elective positions in the yet to be announced local government elections in Ogun state.

Among the party executives who are loyal to Hon Adebutu are State secretary Hon Kola Oluomo, State Publicity Secretary, Waliu Oladipupo, State Women Leader, Bose Enitan and Executive members in some local government.

Speaking to our Correspondent, Hon Waliu Oladipupo denied ever belonging to another political party but PDP.

He said the information that the group is considering another option but PDP is an handiwork of mischief makers, adding that all his political sojourn had been PDP.

“The information is wrong, let me tell you, I belong to PDP, I was the publicity Secretary of PDP at one time, and in spite of what you said is happening to the party in the state, we will remain there and sort it out among ourselves.

That PDP is having issue is not peculiar to the Party, see what is happening to APC today in Edo and other states, so the information of going to other Party is wrong and I can tell you that authoritatively we are in PDP, and we are committed to the Party.

Below are the names and officers of the Party Executives in the State, Local government, and 236 wards in the State.
