The Ogun State Government says it will hold this month’s environmental sanitation exercise tomorrow Saturday, September 25, 2021.

According to a statement, the exercise will take place between 7am and 10am, with no restriction of movement across the 20 Local Government Areas in the State.

In the statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Engr. Rasak Ojetola, he urged residents to maximise the time to clear and clean their drainage channels and premises.

He added that the residents should dispose their waste properly, at designated points for the government- accredited waste collectors to pick-up.

He warned anyone dumping waste inappropriately to desist from such act, else such person would be prosecuted in accordance with the State Environmental laws.
