Ogun Governor Abiodun Visits Burnt Lipede Market, Promises Relief to Affected Traders

Abeokuta, Ogun State – Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun visited Lipede Market in Kuto, Abeokuta, yesterday to assess the damage caused by a devastating fire that gutted a section of the market.

The governor, who was visibly moved by the extent of the destruction, assured traders who lost their goods and properties in the blaze that relief is on the way.

“We are here to assess the situation and see how we can support our beloved traders who have suffered losses”.

“We will do everything in our power to ensure that they receive the necessary support to recover from this unfortunate incident”, Governor Abiodun said.

The governor, accompanied by top government officials, toured the affected area, listening to the concerns of the traders and promising to provide assistance to help them get back on their feet.

The visit was seen as a gesture of solidarity and a demonstration of the government’s commitment to supporting the people in their time of need.
