Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN), Ogun State Chapter has mourned the death of Sheikh Liadi Orunsolu, the Chief Imam of Egbaland.
The Chairman, Comrade Olufemi Omilani on behalf of the association offered Ogun State FIBAN condolences to the entire Muslim Community in Ogun State and Egbaland in general.
This was made known in a commiseration release issued by the association General Secretary, Mr. Olalekan A. Soyinka and obtained by Tropic Reporters Correspondent in Abeokuta today.
Comrade Omilani however described the death of Sheikh Liadi Orunsolu as a great loss who during his life time had an endearing personality as his absence would no doubt be felt.
He however prayed to Almighty Allah to grant all the courage and fortitude to bear the unbearable loss and wished him Aljanat firdaous.
He said, “A father may pass on but his thoughts, hopes and dreams live on in us.”

We pray to Almighty Allah to give all of us the courage and fortitude to bear this unbearable loss.”
“Baba Orunsolu during his life time had an endearing personality. His absence would no doubt be felt but we are comforted that he died peacefully at an old age.”
“We hope we will have another compassionate, loving and influential Chief Imam like him. He will be sorely missed, he said
