Ogun State Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele has charged members of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), to uphold the ethics of their profession, to be better and accomplished managers.
Engr. Salako-Oyedele, who stated this while playing host to members of the Institute, Abeokuta chapter, who were on a courtesy visit to her office, in Abeokuta, said innate managerial skill is required for effective execution of any activity.
“Effective management tool is very important to us as government, and that is why we have what we call delivery unit that coordinates all government projects, to ensure that monitoring and evaluation is done and we can deliver on our agenda to people”, she said
The Deputy Governor appreciated the body for their contributions to the development of the State and country at large.
Earlier in his remarks, the Chairman, NIM, Abeokuta chapter, Pastor Adebayo Osinaike, stressed the need for proper management of resources, especially in mitigating the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic, urging government officials to efficiently play their roles.
