Ogun Deputy Gov Revalidates APC Membership Registration, Urge Members To Shun Violence

In continuation of the on-going registration and revalidation exercise of The All Progressives Congress (APC) across the country, the Ogun state Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele has urged party faithfuls to shun violence and embrace peace in order to ensure the exercise is devoid of all forms of rancor.

Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele who stated this in her address after revalidating her membership and flagging off the registration/revalidation exercise at the GRA Ota ward 3 polling unit in Ado Odo-Ota local government, told party members to shun all acts that will bring disorderliness and affect the smooth running of the excercise.

The Deputy Governor added that its the responsibility of party members to mobilise as many people as possible for the exercise, noting that politics is a game of numbers and not a social club.

“The benefits of politics is not for people in power alone, it is for all of us and the only way to benefit and enjoy more of it is to become a bonafide registered member. Part of which include appointments, I am glad to say Ogun west has benefitted in this present administration led by Prince Dapo Abiodun” she said

While imploring party members to troupe out enmass for the registration and revalidation, she urged those willing to join the party to do so now that the opportunity has been provided for them before it closes on February 25th.

Also speaking the Chairman, Ogun State membership registration committee, Hon. Ademorin Kuye, said the exercise was critical towards repositioning the party, urging party loyalists to key into the initiative as well as co-operate with the committee.

He added that being a registered party member would open doors of opportunities especially when it comes to appointment and other benefits.

In their separate remarks , Senator Kamal Odunsi, Ado-odo Ota local government transition Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Lawal and Chairman APC Ogun West, Alhaji Muhammed Azeez urged party faithfuls and others who are willing to join APC to go and register and revalidate their membership, telling them to cooperate with the committee, shun violence and embrace peace during the exercise to make it successful.
