The Deputy Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Oludare Oluwatimilehin Kadiri has been conferred with the patron of the Nigerian Legion, Ijebu-Igbo Area Council for his relentless contributions towards uplifting the plight of the Legioners in the area council.

The Chairman of the Nigerian Legion, Ijebu North Area Council, Comrade Tajudeen Liasu, while confering the honour on the Deputy Speaker, decribed him as a committed and dedicated retired soldier, who fought for the unity and peace of the nation.

According to Liasu, Hon, Kadiri’s invaluable contributions to the welfare of the Legioners stood him out and therefore being honoured as the Patron of the Nigerian Legion in the Ijebu North Area Council.

Responding, the new Patron thanked the legioners for the honour, assuring them of more dedicated service to the organisation, promising that the current administration in the State would continue to extend hands of fellowship to different interest groups and organisations.

He stated that having served in the military, he understood their plight and would continue to render necessary supports to the organisation.
