Ogun Community To Hold Security Summit To Curb Criminal Activities

As part of efforts to provide solutions to help tackle insecurity and other security challenges facing Ogun State.

An Ogun State Community, Ifedara Opeji Area CDC will on Saturday 13th May, 2023 hold a security summit at Oke – Ona Grammar School, Opeji – Mawuko Road, Akomoje, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

According to a release signed by the community Chairman, Asiwaju Dapo Wahab has it that the security summit is aimed towards safety and to also ensure an ideal environment where business opportunities thrives and security of lives and properties are guaranteed.

Wahab pointed out that security summit will address the rising security challenges facing the country most especially Ogun State, as the state is not left out amongst states with insecurity challenges.

He said, “Ifedara Opeji ACDC will on Saturday 13th May 2023 hold a day Security Summit with the aim of ensuring safety and a security environment suitable for living as well as protection of properties”.

“The summit with the theme: “Community Development Association Panacea To Security and Peace In Our Community”, will hold at Oke Ona Grammar School, Opeji – Mawuko Road, Akomoje, Abeokuta, Ogun State from 10am prompt”.

“The summit is expected to be graced by the HRM, Alayeluwa Oba Dr. Adebayọ Adewale Tejuoso (CON) Karunwi III, Oranmiyan, Osile Oke Ona Egba (Royal Father of the day), Honourable Federal Commissioner, Public Complaint Commission, Hon. Prince Gbuyi Adesanya, Odeda Local Government Chairperson, Mrs. Folasade Adeyemo, Ogun State Director of DSS and the Ogun State Commander of So-Safe Corps, Commander Soji Ganzallo”.

“Others include: Commandant Idowu David Ojelabi, State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps; CN Ibiba Jane Odili, State Commander, NDLEA , Ogun State Command; SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, PPRO Nigeria Police Force,Ogun State Command and High Chief (Dr) Samson Kunle Popoola jp, Chairman: PCRC ,Ogun State Command”.

“Others are; ACP Ayo Edun, Adatan Police Area Commander, Kabiyessi Onitafin of Tafin, Oba morufu Alani Adebayo, Veteran Journalist and General Manager, Root Fm, Mr Dele Ayodo, Sheik ( Dr) Iskeel Lawal Sugar, The WAKEEL musulumi of Yoruba, Edo and Delta States and His Grace Elder Apostle Jacob Adetokunbo Adeaga, South West Chairman: Organization of African instituted Churches, among others”, he added.
