Ogun Assembly to Host Stakeholders’ Forum on Principal-General Bill on Wednesday

The Ogun State House of Assembly is set to conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, regarding “a bill for a law to create the Office of Principal-General in the State and for other matters incidental thereto or connected therewith.”

According to a statement from the Clerk of the Assembly, Mr. Sakiru Adebakin, the stakeholders’ forum, titled “H.B. No. 016/OG/2024 – the Principal-General (Creation of Office) Law, 2024,” aims to gather contributions from relevant stakeholders to develop a bill that will enhance the morale of teachers, encouraging their active involvement in the educational advancement of the state.

The forum is scheduled to begin promptly at 10:00 AM at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, with all invited guests requested to be seated by 9:30 AM.
