OGUN ASSEMBLY TASKS HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT ON MORE HUMAN CAPACITY PROGRAMMES, HYGIENE

Ogun State House of Assembly Committee on Health has appraised the 2019 budget performance of the State Hospitals in Ota and Ilaro respectively with a charge on the members of their Managements to invest more on capacity development of their workers and ensure serenity of their environment to achieve healthy living for patients.

The Chairman of the Committee, Hon. Adegoke Adeyanju accompanied by other members including Honourables Solomon Osho, Haruna Wahab, Bolanle Ajayi and Yusuf Amosun, harped on the need for the managements to gear up towards improving on the services of the hospitals through promotion of hygiene in all their activities and environment.

Appreciating Governor Dapo Abiodun’s effort at revamping the State health sector at all levels, the members who were conducted round the hospital facilities, assured the managements of the Assembly’s partnership at ensuring qualitative health care delivery for the populace.

They admonished the hospitals’ Managements  to put in place more human capacity programmes for medical and non medical personnel.

Reeling out the achievements of the hospitals, the Medical Director, State Hospital, Ota, Dr. Somade Taofeek and his Ilaro Counterpart, Dr Wahab Yusuf lauded the State  Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his administrative initiative which had resulted in the upgrade of facilities and provision of more modern equipment for optimum performance.
