…attends 9th TCAMCCO Conference In Kenya
As part of efforts of the current leadership of Ogun State Co-operative Federation (OGSCOFED) under the leadership of Alhaji Wasiu Olaleye to add value to the state co-operative moment.
The President, Alhaji Wasiu Olaleye has led powerful delegation of OGSCOFED to the 9th Technical Committee of the Africa Ministrial Cooperative Conference (TCAMCCO) holding from Monday 23rd to Friday 27th May, 2022 at Sarofa Whitesands Beach Hotel, Mombasa, Kenya with the theme, “Accelerating Cooperation Among Cooperatives In The Post Covid-19 Era”.
The 5-Day Conference is expected to create synergy among national, regional and international co-operative, enable cooperators and other stakeholders in Africa to engage effectively as well as to promote an enabling environment (laws and policies) expected to promote economic and social-political cooperation among Co-operatives.
Members led to the conference by Alhaji Wasiu Olaleye include the Director of Co-operative Services in Ogun State, Mr. Mustapha Samuel Olusegun; President, Remo Cooperative Investment Society Limited, Prince Lateef Adewale Oriade; Executive Secretary of OGSCOFED Limited, Mr. David I. Ayelabola, Adebolu Rasaq Adisa, Olusanjo Olugbenga, Titilola Yisau Oyeleke and Meroyi Oludotun
Other attendees from Lagos – Nigeria include the President of CFN and ICA – Africa, High Chief Tajudeen Oriyomi Ayeola and Elder Felix Bamidele Ajibode who is the Cooperatives conglomerate President.
Meanwhile, the welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Chiyoge B. Sifa (Mrs), ICA-Africa Regional Director; International Cooperative Alliance – Africa (ICA-AFRICA) President.
