Comrade Oginni Olaposi who is the Chairman, League of Registered Political Parties in Ogun state has lauded the judiciary, especially the Federal High Court Abeokuta for refusing to grant Senator Buruji Kashamu’s application to hold grip of PDP in the state.

Oginni also appealed to the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu to warn his high ranking officers to avoid from being used to settle political scores in the hands of Senator Buruji Kashamu.

Senator Kashamu, a factional PDP leader in Ogun state has come under intense criticism following the fallout between him and erstwhile PDP Chairman in the state, Engr. Bayo Dayo.

Kashamu had last week approached a Federal High Court in Abeokuta to stop Engr. Dayo from constituting a caretaker committee for the party following his suspension as the party Chairman in the state.

But Oginni on Tuesday accused Kashamu of using the police to intimidate anyone opposed to his alleged plot to hold grip of the party in the state.

He urged the police and other security agencies should be wary of Kashamu’s character and not allow themselves to be used as tools of political vendetta by Kashamu.

He equally commended the judiciary for refusing to grant the Kashamu’s faction the injunction to install his loyalists as party exco.

“The Ogun state chapter of League of registered political parties led by comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday commend the judiciary most especially Federal High Court, Abeokuta for refusing the frivolous suit being sought for by Senator Kashamu faction of PDP.

“We are happy that the federal high Court Abeokuta heed our warning on frivolous claims and empathy sought by Kashamu few days ago. The court refused barrister oluyede who is the counsel to Senator faction because it appears to seek backdoor judgements. The court did the right thing by ordering that all concern party should be put on notice.

“We are happy that the presiding judge live above board by refusing to grant this frivolous injunction. With the refusal the stage is now set for a great legal battle that will permanently nail the coffin of Kashamus political rascality.

“We believe that all the lies Kashamu on the congress will come to bare and everybody will now see him as a great liar. In the same vein, we hereby appeal to IGP to please caution some high ranking police officer which senator Kashamu tend to be using to intimidate and silent those of us who are oppose to his continued suffocation of Ogun PDP.

“It is disturbing that senator Kashamu in his desperate effort to frustrate the genuine reconciliation being led by Prince Bayo Dayo in Ogun PDP.

“He has resorted to intimidation of Engr. Bayo Dayo by the Nigeria police and other security agencies. We want to say it loud and clear, that all our security agencies should be wary of this questionable character called Buruji Kashamu, we all know that the beauty of democracy is the rule of law, we hereby congratulations all members of PDP on the arrival of a brand new PDP in Ogun state in no distant time.”
