In its quest to pass more enabling legislations meant to reposition the sports sector in the State for optimum performance, the Ogun State House of Assembly will on Wednesday, 4th December, 2019, hold a Stakeholders’ forum on “HB No 025/OG/2019- A Bill for a Law to Provide for the Establishment of the Ogun State Sports Commission and for Connected Purposes” as well as “HB. No. 26/OG/2019- A Bill for a Law to Provide for the Establishment of the Ogun State Sports Trust Fund and for Connected Purposes”.

The public hearing according to a release signed by the Ag. Clerk of the House of Assembly, ‘Deji Adeyemo is meant to harness inputs and contributions of all relevant stakeholders with a view to having all-encompassing bills to aid the development of sporting activities, infrastructure and equipment through the involvement of major players in the private sector.

The release indicated that the venue of the forum is the Assembly Complex, Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta, starting from 10:00 am prompt, while all stakeholders, guests and other government officials are enjoined to be seated at 9.30 am.
