While speaking at the scholarship award ceremony, the monarch expressed his gratitude to the donors, acknowledging that their support had significantly contributed to the educational development of the Owu community.

Oba Matemilola said, “The contributions from our donors have made a significant impact on the educational development of Owu Kingdom”.

“I urge all recipients to fully embrace these opportunities, strive for academic excellence, and represent the Owu community with pride.”

The monarch also emphasized the importance of actively participating in the tutorial lessons, explaining that the recipients’ engagement with these lessons and other related activities would be crucial to their success.

“The foundation has set up a framework for you to succeed. It’s now up to you to actively participate in these lessons and ensure you take full advantage of them,” he added.

“Hard work, dedication, and cooperation with your teachers are key to making the most of this scholarship”.

“This is a privilege, not a right, so you must take your studies seriously to achieve success”, Olori Matemilola advised the students.

She further emphasized that eligibility for the scholarship was based on satisfactory academic performance, and noted that the foundation would provide counselling support as part of its comprehensive educational assistance.
