Prospective Corps Members of the 2021 batch ‘C’ Orientation Course in Iyana-Ipaja, Lagos State, have been enjoined to be united while in Camp and also promote the unity of the country as they come together from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
Mr Megwa made this call during his briefing to the Prospective corps members yesterday.
Unveiling the three newly appointed Corps Camp Directors for the batch, Mr Megwa said enormous powers and responsibilities have been vested in them and they would be joining camp officials in the day-to-day running of the camp.
He therefore appealed for the cooperation of the Prospective corps members with the Corps Camp Directors in order to achieve a hitch-free Orientation Course exercise.
The State Coordinator has also called on the Prospective Corps Members to use the period of the Orientation Course and Service Year to identify with a Skill which will make them self-reliant in the present biting unemployment situation of the country as their parents want a return in what was invested in them.
While stating unequivocally that the camp will not tolerate any act of indiscipline from the corps members, Mr Megwa urged them to eschew any habits that will bring their image or their parents to disrepute as the Camp will not hesitate to mete punitive measures on them when they err.
