The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the orientation camp for the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II corps members will be moved to Adamu Tafawa Balewa College of Education, Kangere, Bauchi State.

This relocation, confirmed by NYSC coordinator Mrs. Rifkatu Yakubu, is due to the need for renovations at the Permanent Orientation Camp in Wailo, Ganjuwa Local Government Area.

Governor Bala Mohammed has mandated a complete renovation of the existing camp facilities. As a result, the orientation exercise will take place at the temporary site to allow for these improvements.

The NYSC has assigned 1,900 prospective corps members to the state for the orientation, scheduled from August 28 to September 17. Corps members are advised to avoid traveling at night and to rest during their journeys.
