The Director-General, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim, has called on members of Staff of the Scheme to rededicate themselves to duty.
Addressing the Staff at the NYSC Secretariats in Plateau, Bauchi and Gombe States, the Director-General also reminded them that team work was crucial to the achievement of organizational goals.
He enjoined them to always uphold the trust reposed in them regarding the care of Corps members, and to ensure that the latter did not leave their service locations without due authorization.
Shuaibu further charged Zonal and Local Government Inspectors to liaise effectively with Security Agencies on the safety of Corps members.
The Director-General reaffirmed the commitment of Management to the promotion of Staff welfare, while at the same time warning that infractions would be met with appropriate sanctions.
