The National Universities Commission (NUC) has given its final nod for the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso to offer thirteen new courses on full-time mode.

A letter from the NUC dated March 14, 2022, addressed to the Vice-Chancellor and signed by Dr Noel Biodun Salihu, Director of Academic Planning on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the commission, conveyed the approval.

The letter explained that it followed the resource verification visit that was carried out recently by panels of experts to some proposed academic programmes in the university.

It added that the effective date for the commencement of the programmes is the 2021/2022 academic session.
