The National Orientation Agency, Ogun State Director, Mr. Christopher Kolawole Obadina, ably represented by Mr. Famure Femi, has sensitized 2023 Batch A Stream 1 corps members on the need to embrace the national core values for their self development and the advancement of the nation.

The State Director frowned at the spate of moral decadence in the society today, saying it’s high time the average Nigerian youth exhibits the tenets of the nation’s national core values of patriotism, integrity, discipline, religious tolerance, social justice, dignity of labour and self reliance if they’re to be seen as future leaders of the country.

He called on the youth to prove that they actually constitute the larger percentage of eligible voters at this year 2023 by not to sitting at home on the election days running political analysis, play street soccer or watch television but come all out enmasse to exercise their civic duties.

He urged them not to take their destiny into their hands by refusing to sell their votes, engage in act of thuggery, unrest, etc, but participate actively by voting rightly and of their own freewill, candidate of their choice.

The Director told the youth to present themselves for enumeration when the Census commences.

The National Orientation Agency, Nigeria. / National Youth Service Corps – NYSC Value Reorientation Lecture Series came up at the NYSC Sagamu Orientation Camp from February 1-4, 2023.
