…Asks Journalists To Stay Away, Says Only Key Staff ‘ll Work
Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa on Monday said the house will not entertain any visitor for now as part of measures to curb the spread of Coronavirus.
He declared that the doors of the Assembly will be shut to visitors except on urgent State matters, while only key staff should work at this time.
The Speaker implored the visitors and journalists at the gallery to bear with the Assembly and stay away for now, while he advised the members of the Lagos State House of Assembly Correspondence Association (LAHACA) to reduce their members at the Sitting.
He said the Plenary will be staggered while the trend of COVID -19 which is a global pandemic is observed.
He further urged his colleagues and all members of staff to apply the social distancing rule, sanitize their hands and stay safe.
