The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has announced the start of a new recruitment drive on July 25, 2024.
NNPCL spokesperson, Olufemi Soneye, shared this update on Friday via his official X account, stating that the company has several vacancies across various departments.
Interested candidates can apply through the company’s official website. Soneye’s message read, “NNPC Ltd is pleased to announce that we are currently hiring for multiple positions across various departments. We are seeking talented and dedicated individuals to join our team. Visit our careers page for application instructions.”
This recruitment follows a major hiring event in 2020 when the company recruited over 1000 staff.
The new recruitment comes amid an ongoing dispute between Dangote Group, NNPCL, and the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority. Aliko Dangote, Chairman of Dangote Group, recently claimed that NNPCL officials own blending plants in Malta, leading to Nigeria importing petroleum products from there.
However, NNPCL Group CEO Mele Kyari has refuted this, asserting that no company officials have refineries in Malta.
