Nigeria have qualified for the round of 16 at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, following their 1-0 win over Guinea on Wednesday.
The Super Eagles were already in pole position in Group B, following their 1-0 win over Burundi last weekend.
However, Gernot Rohr’s men found it tough against the Syli Stars, who had Naby Keita in their ranks from the start.
The breakthrough arrived in the second half after Kenneth Omeruo rose highest to head home Moses Simon’s cross.
Nigeria now have six points, ahead of their final group fixture against debutants, Madagascar.
