NDLEA Warns Hoteliers in Katsina Against Hosting Illicit Drugs

Hotel owners in Katsina have been cautioned by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) against permitting the use of illegal drugs on their premises.

During a meeting with hotel owners, NDLEA Commander Mr. Hassan Sani-Abubakar stressed the increasing trend of hotels being utilized as hubs for illegal drug activities.

He emphasized the agency’s commitment to enforcing the law and ensuring offenders face legal consequences.

Mr. Halilu Hamidu, NDLEA Deputy State Commander for operations and training, highlighted the pivotal role hotel owners can play in combatting this issue, citing directives from NDLEA Chairman, retired Brig.-Gen. Buba Marwa, to engage critical stakeholders in preventive measures.
