Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule has commended the infrastructural drive of the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration in Ogun State.

Governor Sule also noted that his administration still has a lot to learn from how Ogun State is tapping from it’s closeness to Lagos State.

The governor made this known when he visited Prince Abiodun at the Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

Engr. Sule, who commended the dualization of the Sagamu to Abeokuta road, also congratulated Governor Abiodun on his recent victory at the Supreme Court.

“I am also here to appreciate him (Abiodun) for all the good works that he is doing and to learn from what he is doing in Ogun because Ogun to Lagos is the way Nasarawa is to Abuja. We have so much to learn from Ogun State.

“I have seen so many good things and I want to congratulate him. I have seen the dualization of the Sagamu to Abeokuta road. The last time I was here, it was just a single lane. So, we zoomed here in a few minutes, that is what a private thinking person will do in other to attract more investment,” he said.

Sule also disclosed that the citing of projects at the grassroots are better as the people will benefit in the areas of agriculture, health, agriculture and other areas.

The governor also commended the revenue drive of the Prince Abiodun-led administration, saying that the increase in the revenue drive of the state is highly commendable.

“So many things are going on in the state. I have seen so many projects at the grassroots that he is doing.

“Most of these projects are better when you build them at the grassroot where the people will be able to benefit in the areas of agriculture, in the areas of health, agriculture.

“The biggest of them all is in the area of your own revenue. You will not appreciate it until you understand what other states who are not generating this kind of revenue are doing.

“It was not like this. Agbara wasn’t like this and today Sagamu wasn’t like that,” he added.

Governor Sule also visited the home of a former Minister of Finance, Dr. Onaolapo Soleye who died on the 15 November 2023 at the age of 90.
