The last few weeks have witnessed series of pains and agonies faced by Nigerians ranging from fuel scarcity, which resulted in arbitrary hike in fuel price, to cash crunch arising from the redesigned Naira notes, coupled with transactions and network challenges, among others. These ugly experiences have put the masses under different degrees of hardship and starvation. As such, various levels of desperation and actions have been taken by the masses to express their dissatisfaction and anger.
Against the backdrop of Naira scarcity that has rocked some parts of Ogun State and the country in general, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Candidate, Hon.(Dr.) Oladipupo Adebutu, has urged aggrieved members of the public to sheathe their swords and avoid attacking banking and other public facilities as expression of their grievances towards the currency scarcity, stressing there is no construction in destruction.

The PDP Gubernatorial Candidate lamented the rising hardship that the good but not well planned and wrongly timed policy of the Naira redesigning has brought upon the Nigerian masses.
According to him, the APC promised to fight corruption but the party members have only come to hype it, increase insecurity and bastardise the nation’s economy.
