Meet the new Owaloko of Iloko Ijesa, Oba Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe [Photos]

HRM Oba Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe, Ajagbusi Ekun VI, Owaloko of Iloko Ijesa, a Community located in Oriade Local Government Area of the State of Osun, Southwest Nigeria was recently installed after spending nine days in Seclusion as customs demands.

The appointment of the new Owaloko was recently approved by the Gboyega Oyetola led Osun State Government following eight years prolonged delayed after the demise of Oba Oladele Olashore in 2012.

Recalled that the late monarch became the Ajagbusi Ekun V of Iloko Ijesa on Saturday 5th April,. 1997 after receiving his staff of office from the then Military Adminstrator of Osun State, Lt. Col. Anthony U. Obi, FSS, PSS.

The new Owaloko of Iloko Ijesa became the Saloro Owaloko in 2017, while his installation was stalled by ranchor between the royal Family.

The official presentation of certificate of appointment, staff and instrument of office will hold on Saturday, 24th July, 2021.

Meanwhile, his traditional installation was held on Thursday 13th May, 2021, an event which was witnessed by residents, sons and daughters of the ancient Community.
