The authorities of the Enugu Catholic Diocese have clarified that Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka was not removed as Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, as the spiritual director as widely reported on social media.

The Diocese, which expressed love for Mbaka as an illustrious son, said Mbaka was only asked to take time away in solitude to listen to what the Spirit of God has to tell him.

The Catholic Director of Communications, Enugu Catholic Diocese, Rev Fr Banjamin Achi in a telephone interview clarified that Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka had not been removed from the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN)

The priest dissociated the diocese from the news that was erroneously reported in some quarters, said the recommendation for Mbaka to spend some time in solitude at a monastery was hinged on the need for him to hear what the Spirit of God had to tell him

The priest insisted that Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka was still the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry.
