In appreciation of quality teaching delivery, the alumni of Association of Mass Communication (AMACOS) ’94 set of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta have celebrated their Lecturers in grand style.
The instruction’s Head of Public Relations and Protocol, ‘Yemi Ajibola stated in a statement obtained by Tropic Reporters correspondent today in Abeokuta.
The programme, which was tagged 2022 World Teachers’ Day Celebration, was part of their reunion activities held at Ramotu Iboronke Babalakin Auditorium of the Polytechnic.
In his remarks, the Rector, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, expressed deep gratitude to the alumni for such a laudable initiative to recognize little efforts of their great teachers.
Odedeji said, while appreciating the efforts of the trainers, they should also remember the system the trained them, just as some alumni sets have been doing.
“This will definitely corroborate some transformational agenda of the Management”, he concluded.
Similarly, the Head of Department, Mr. Lekan Togunwa, disclosed his pleasure to receive both great lecturers and the alumni of pace setting department, who are hinged on “Unity is Strength”.
Another significant part was unveiling a scroll of honour at Mass Communication building, comprising names of great teachers by the AMACOG ’94.
At the event, Prof. Lai Oso, Hajj Taiwo Otunba, Mr. Mathew Ogunsiji, Mr. Bidemi Osunbiyi, Mr. Kayode Ayankojo, Rev. Egujobi, Dr. Sola Adetutu and Dr. Lucky Aikabeli were among the decorated great teachers.
