…Says We’ve Lost A Political Stabilizer

The death of Senator Sikiru Adebayo Osinowo aka Pepperito, came as a rude shock that, many of us in the House of Assembly are yet to recover from.

We were about to begin the plenary session of the day when the news of your demise filtered in and threw the whole assembly into disarray and mourning mood.

Not many could believe that the ebullient and ever smiling pepperito is gone.
Not many could come to terms that, the effervescent and peace maker is gone.

For the 16 years ( 2003- 2019) you were in the Lagos House of Assembly representing the good people of Kosofe Constituency 1, many loved you for the stabilizing role you played in some of the crisis that reared its head during that period.

Even though you were not the oldest in terms of age , many ran to you to seek solutions to their sociopolitical problems because of your political sagacity and Solomon wisdom approach to issues.

The Muslim community of the Lagos House of Assembly will forever be grateful to you for your fatherly role and financial commitment to their cause particularly, in the building of the ultra modern Lagos House of Assembly mosque.

Your one year in the Upper Chamber( Senate) of the National Assembly as representative of Lagos East Senatorial district and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Industries gave us reasons to be very proud of you as our ambassador.

On behalf of myself , members , management and all the staff of Lagos House of Assembly , we expressed our heart condolences to your immediate and extended family. We pray that the Almighty Allah will grant you aljanah firdaus and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
