KATSINA GOVERNMENT CONDOLES NYSC OVER DEATH OF THREE CORPS MEMBERS

The Katsina State Government has condoled with National Youth Service Corps over the loss of three Corps Members that died in a motor accident along Katsina-Tuntua road on Sunday.

Katsina State Deputy Governor, Quantity Surveyor Mannir Yakubu, made this disclosure today when the Director-General, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim paid a condolelence visit to the State.

He said the Governor Aminu Bello Masari has been monitoring the health condition of the accident victims.

The Deputy Governor added that the relationship between the Government and NYSC Scheme in the State is cordial and it will continue to improve.

‘We will improve the living conditions of staff and Corps Members.NYSC has been a strong unifying factor in the country’, the Deputy Governor said.

The Director-General, Brigadier Shuaibu Ibrahim thanked the State Governor, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari for his quick intervention in conveying victims of the accident to the hospital.

He appealed for stronger relationship with the NYSC Scheme in Katsina State. Three out of the affected Corps Members have been discharged from the hospital while the remaining six are recuperating.
