KANO RADIO EX-MD, UMAR TUDUNWADA DIES IN AUTO CRASH

The immediate past Managing Director of Kano State Radio Corporation, Umar Saidu Tudunwada, is dead.

Tudunwada died on Sunday in a road accident around Kura town in Kura Local Government area of Kano State, Daily Nigerian reports.

Mr Tudunwada was at one time a Principal Editor at the then CTV, now Abubakar Rimi Television (ARTV).

He was broadcaster with Voice of America, freelance correspondent with Hausa and English services of Deutsche-Welle and also Editor, Concern Magazine.

The deceased served twice as Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to former Gov. Rabi’u Kwankwaso as well as Secretary, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kano State Council
