Kaduna Govt Orders Public Schools To Migrate To 4-Day Working Week

Kaduna State Government has ordered all public schools in the State to migrate to its 4-day working week.

The State Commissioner for Education, Halima Lawa, in a statement today, said the government would adjust the 2021/2022 academic calendar to ensure coverage of the curriculum for the academic session.

According to her, the Ministry of Education expected all principals and headteachers to receive boarding students on Sunday, 9th of January, 2022, and day students on Monday, January 10, 2022, respectively.

She urged members of the school security committee to ensure proper monitoring of security apparatus and prompt reporting of any security threat in their schools.
