The Ogun State Government has ordered engineer to recommenced the reconstruction of Ejirin Folagbade Road in Ijebu-Ode.
This is coming after exhaustive discussions between the contractor and the State Government, as governor affirms his strong committment to ensure timely completion of the roads.
It would be recalled that the contractor left site, a few months ago following issues relating to payment of the overall contract amount.
As at the time of filing this report, engineers have moved back to site, and are currently carrying out palliative works and earthwork, while full reconstruction is scheduled to begin immediately after.
The Hon. Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Engr Ade Akinsanya, while making this announcement, said he received assurance that the project will be completed in record time.
