The NYSC monthly sanitation have been reinvigorated in Jigawa State. The program which was earlier introduced by the National Directorate Headquarters of the scheme to motivate Corps Members to clean the environment especially their host communities was in comatose.
Now corps members serving in the state must use every last Community Development (CD) day to clean strategic places like, hospitals, schools 🏫 and markets within their host communities thereby affecting their host communities directly.
According to the State Coordinator, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdu Muhammad emphasis is put on public places as this will ensure the lives of the people are touched. He said the participating corps members will work in groups thereby ensuring visibility and upholding the image of the scheme.
The state NYSC boss CDS is one of the cardinal programs or pillars which the scheme is built on, therefore management will not take it lightly with any erring corps member. @ Yakubu Gowon Nysc Camp Dutse
