Jigawa Govt Lifts Curfew As Over 200 Suspected Looters Arrested

The Jigawa State Government has lifted the 24-hour curfew imposed following the #EndBadGovernance protest that turned violent.

The Jigawa State Commissioner for Information Sagir Musa who disclosed this at the Government House in Dutse on Saturday, said the decision comes after realising that the state is at present relatively peaceful.

Meanwhile, the police have arrested over 200 suspected looters and recovered stolen items.

“There are so many arrests made by the police and over 200 people were arrested by the different security agencies in the state,” he said.
