JCI Presidents Commend Abiodun For Developmental Strides

The National President of Junior Chambers International (JCI) Nigeria, JC Attairu Abdullahi, has lauded the unwavering efforts of the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration at ensuring all-round development in the three Senatorial Districts of the Ogun State.

Abdullahi gave the commendation during a courtesy visit to the office of the Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, as part of the ongoing activities marking the organisation’s World Presidents Meeting, hosted by its Ogun State branch, saying the developmental strides recorded so far by the current administration informed the choice of the State for the meeting.

He stated that JCI is a platform that would continue to build leaders for the evolving and changing the world, saying “I strongly believe that continued collaboration with the government will yield better and fruitful results’’.

Also speaking, the World President of JCI, JC Victor Omaarson applauded the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for working in line with JCI agenda and his support to the organisation in the State, towards the development and encouragement of leaders for a changing world through effective participation of youths in governance.

Omaarson stated that the meeting was for JCI Presidents from countries in Africa and the Middle East, noting that it would be a unique experience to learn about the rich cultural heritage of the State.

Responding, Engr. Salako-Oyedele said the present administration was pleased to meet and work with members of the organisation, particularly the JCI for their vision to develop leaders and increase human capacity of youths who were the pivotal to the development of any nation.

She remarked that of all the States in Nigeria, Ogun was the preferred choice for hosting of the meeting, noting that it shows the efforts of Governor Abiodun to place the State on the world map.

Salako-Oyedele urged  members of JCI to avail the opportunity of the tourist centres that abound in the State during its meeting, appreciating them for coming to the State.
