…charges them to unify the association, support alma mater
The Principal, Iloko Model College, Iloko Ijesa, Osun State Nigeria, Pastor Kayode Ogunwale, has on behalf of the Board of Governors, Management, Staff and Students, congratulated the newly appointed caretaker committee to run the affairs of the school’s alumni association.
The Principal, Pastor Kayode Ogunwale, made this felicitation known in a statement he personally signed on Monday, said the emergence of Dr. Timilehin Ogungbangbe – Jegede and other members of the caretaker committee was deserving owing to the their noteworthy contributions to the alumni association.
We however charge the caretaker committee to take drastic measures to reposition the Alumni Association to a more prosperous and enviable heights.
He said, “On behalf of the Board of Governors, Management, Staff and Students of Iloko Model College (IMC), I write to congratulate the newly appointed caretaker committee of Iloko Model College Alumni Association under the leadership of Dr. Timilehin Ogungbangbe-Jegede and other members of the committee”.
“The school views your appointment as meritorious and noteworthy owing to the fact that previous positions you all have held in your chosen careers would be great use in developing the association”.
“We want to urge you to take drastic measures to reposition the Alumni Association into a more visible organization”.
“We therefore enjoin the new leadership to feel free to consult the school where necessary for possible assistance “.
“While congratulating the new caretaker committee for this appointment, we enjoin members of the Association, irrespective of their interest, to come together for the task ahead towards unifying the entire association and to give back to their alma mater”.
“As always, we urge you all to remain good ambassadors of Iloko Model College wherever you go”, he added.
