The Principal of Iloko Model College, Pastor Kayode Ogunwale while describing the great citadel of learning said, Iloko Model College is a co-educational college founded in September 2001 through the vision and initiative of HRM Oba Oladele Olashore, CON, the late Ajagbusi Ekun, Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa. The school runs Boarding and Day systems for the students with a new cradle of learning (Iloko Model Kiddies Academy) added to the achievements of the school to cater for young scholars to attain a dignified level of education and experience that will last a lifetime.
He opined that dearth of quality and qualitative but affordable education prompted Oba Oladele Olashore with the support of the Iloko-Ijesa community to establish the school as a community – based initiative aimed at providing a private secondary school education expected to provide solution to the challenges faced by parents who are desirous of an all-round education for their children.
He noted further that the great citadel of learning as said by Pastor Ogunwale is situated in a serene environment on an exclusive area outskirt of Iloko-Ijesa in the State of Osun with a very beautiful and naturally endowed landscape.
He reiterated that the best legacy one can give to one’s child is good and quality education. The step towards achieving this is making the right choice of school as one is confronted with the pain of changing a school for a child again and again.
