…Leads Traditional Council to 20th Valedictory Service

The Owaloko of Iloko Ijesa, Oba Dr. Akeem Benjamin Ogungbangbe, Ajagbusi Ekun VI, led the Iloko traditional council to the Iloko Model College (IMC) for its 20th Valedictory Service and Graduation Ceremony.

In his keynote address, Owaloko commended IMC for its commitment to high-quality education, urging parents to enroll their children to benefit from its exceptional offerings.

He emphasized that IMC provides a world-class education that prepares students for global success.

Owaloko expressed gratitude to HRM Oba Adebayo Ogunmokun, Akeji of Ikeji Ile, and acknowledged the dedication of the Olowu of Owu-Kuta Kingdom, represented by Olori Abebi Oyelude Makama.

He also appreciated the Ojemen family’s support and applauded Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe for attending despite his busy schedule.

Owaloko conveyed a message to the Commissioner for Education, Hon. Eluwole, and celebrated the contributions of individuals who provided scholarships to underprivileged students.

He praised the Iloko traditional council for protecting the school’s image and thanked parents, assuring them their efforts would not be in vain.

Owaloko highlighted the solid foundation provided to graduating students and encouraged them to build on it. He emphasized IMC’s exceptional faculty, facilities, and curriculum, attributing alumni achievements to the solid educational foundation received.

In his concluding remarks, Owaloko urged stakeholders to continue supporting IMC’s mission of providing quality education, calling on parents, community leaders, and government officials to invest in the school’s future.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including High Chief Johnson Olatunji Baba Odofin, High Chief Odelusi Kehinde Baba Aworo, and many others.
