Indigenes of Iloko-Ijesa community in Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State which is bordered by Ijebu-Ijesa, Iwaraja-Ijesa, Ilesa, and Ijeda Ijesa, are all smiles as the access road in Iloko-Ijesa leading to Ijebu has been lit with solar power lights.
The street lighting project was facilitated by Hon. Seun Odofin, All Progressive Congress chieftain in Oriade Constituency.
In another development, the monarch has also installed street lights along access roads in the city.
Owaloko emphasised that aside from beautification, the project will also improve security in the community.
“The place is our home and it is the responsibility of all of us to contribute to its uplifting in our various capacities. These lights will not only add to the beauty of our community but also improve the security state,” owaloko stated.
