Ijeja-Igbore Bridge Ready by November – Gov Abiodun

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has assured residents along the Ijeja-Igbore corridor in Abeokuta South Local Government Area that the link bridge connecting the two communities will be completed and operational by late November 2024.

The Governor made this promise during an inspection of the ongoing construction. Addressing the local community, he committed not only to finishing the bridge but also to initiating repairs on the entire Ijeja-Igbore road.

“I’ve reviewed the timeline for the completion of the Ijeja-Igbore bridge, and the contractor has confirmed it will be ready by next month,” Governor Abiodun said. Following the bridge’s completion, he pledged to ensure that the contractor is quickly mobilized to start reconstruction work on the road.

Governor Abiodun thanked the residents for their patience throughout the construction period and reiterated his administration’s commitment to projects that improve the quality of life for the people of Ogun State.
