The Chairman of Ifedara-Opeji Area CDC, Asiwaju Dapo Wahab has been appointed as F-SARS PCRC Unit Coordinator.
This appointment was contained in a release issued by the state public relation officer of Ogun State PCRC, Prince Samuel Obinuga and obtained by our correspondent in Abeokuta today.
It would be recalled that on Friday 10th April, 2020 that the Acting State Chairman, Ven. (Dr.)Samson Kunle Popoola, JP approved the setting up of PCRC Tactical Units to support the Tactical Units within the Police Formation and other collaborative Community Policing Outfits.
According to the release, the committee however approved the appointments of Asiwaju Dapo Wahab as the Coordinator of F-SARS PCRC Unit, while Omotayo Adedapo as Deputy Coordinator, John A. Adegboye (Secretary) and Prince Lateef Adedayo as Deputy Secretary.
The committee also approved the appointments of Alhaji Farouk Akintunde as State Elite PCRC Unit Coordinator and Dr. Ezekiel Sodiya as Secretary.
Other appointees include; Hon. Akinlade Taiwo, State CID PCRC Unit Coordinator, Prince Samuel Obinuga (Deputy Coordinator), Chief Babatunde Odeyemi (Secretary), Mr. Adesanya Oduala (Deputy Secretary), Chief Micheal Mba, Anti Cultism PCRC Unit Coordinator, Oladipe Joseph Olugbenga (Secretary), Mr. Akeem Okebunmi (Anti-kidnapping PCRC Unit Coordinator), Engr. Olaribigbe Aremu (Secretary).
Others are Alhaji S’Ola Ogungbe, CSP RTD (State Traffic PCRC Unit Coordinator), Comrade Omolara Sansa (Secretary), Bishop Japhet Odukoya (So-Safe PCRC Unit Coordinator) and ACC Moruf Yusuf as Secretary.
They were thereafter urged to help in fostering better relationship and understanding between the units and the general public.
