The Nigerian gospel musician and Fresh Fm Director, Olayinka Joel Ayefele (OJA), sAys he believeS he would walk again.

Ayefele said this today, while speaking in an interview with Enitan Olusegun Bamidele on his radio program titled, “Eku Iyanju” on fresh fm, 105.9 Ibadan.

It would be recalled that Dr. Yinka Ayefele on December 12, 1997 was involved in an automobile accident, which damaged his spinal cord and confined him to the wheelchair which later became a watershed that transformed his life from bitter experience to sweet experience.

The musician has been unable to walk on his feet after the ugly incident that took his spinal cord, 23years ago.

“I almost lost hope that I will still have children as the promise comes to fulfillment after so many years, but now I believe I’ll still stand on my feet and walk, which I believe that is very closed to fulfilment”, he said.

When asked if he foreseen the accident before it happened, he said although one of his brothers then, late Gbenga Adeboye, once told him before the incident that he’ll be famous across the globe but in a painful way, which he didn’t think of until the accident took his spinal cord.

He then admonished, people going through challenges or difficulty that, they should keep on having hope and believe in whatever things they are facing, because if they didn’t divert from that vision, they will surely achieve it no matter how long it takes.
