I MISS GOVERNOR IBIKUNLE AMOSUN, SAYS AMINA

Date:

Reading time: 2 Minutes

My name is Amina Dabo,I am an hausa lady but born in Abeokuta and had all my education here and it’s  just few months that Senator Ibikunle Amosun left the sit of power as the governor of Ogun State and I have missed Abeokuta is the state capital and you can not take that away from here as this is where everything happens no doubt.

If you want to be successful as a governor, it must be seen at the state capital before anywhere else because this is the first point of contact for everyone

As at this time of rain, the fear of the people is the storm and flooding, many thanks to the little effort of SIA as he is fondly called,it would have been worst than what we are witnessing

He has built the little he could and the most interesting part of it is that he will inspect, monitor and move round to see any damage caused by the downpour at anytime and look for a lasting solution if not immediate but longterm

Many roads have failed now due to the many downpour and nobody is attending to it, the flood has taken away so many places and the cry from different quarters is becoming unbecoming

Opako/Adigbe/Obada road is gone, Gbangba along Iyana Mortuary is also gone Adeun along Rounder will soon give way and i am sure so many within the state capital are also begging for attention due to this every day downpour

As I said earlier on that I am an hausa lady but for over thirty years now,I have been around and I know much about the state capital

Only if we want to lie and play politics,if Senator Ibikunle Amosun didn’t do what he did to the state capital in his two terms in office, I am very sure we will not be sleeping with our two eyes closed.

Hate him or like him,he played a role and it only need continuity for the new Governor who is now on board.

Flood will not write anyone before it fights and the rain we have now may still cause many havoc

Thanks for reading

Amina Dabo

Sabo, Abeokuta
