Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, has congratulated his daughter, Tobi Makinde, on graduation from Yale University, United States of America, saying that with her exit from school, he has one less school fees to pay.
Yale University is a private Ivy League research university in New Haven, Connecticut. Founded in 1701, Yale is the third-oldest institution of higher education in the United States, and one of the nine colonial colleges chartered before the American Revolution.
Tobi’s graduation on Monday was witnessed by her parents, siblings and others including the governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq.
Taking to his X handle (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, Governor Makinde wrote: “Congratulations, my darling Tobi on your graduation from Yale University yesterday. Your hard work and diligence paid off. Wishing you all the best as you embark on a new chapter of your life and I’m also glad that I have one less school fees to pay. ????”
