The extension of Otunba Olajumoke Ogunkeyede (JMK) leadership has been confirmed by Governor Oyetola while All Progressives Congress ( APC ) Obokun converged today at Ward 1 Ibokun with the opening prayer by Apostle John Ajayi and welcome address by Hon.Omole Ishola who however canvassed for Governor Oyetola support, Members. Leaders of progressive minded stood up dancing for minutes to show appreciation to God in respect of the struggle so far.
All wards chairmen were requested to present reports on the state of their wards, Obokun ward Chairman in his report assured that APC victory in the wards in case of any future elections, ward 3 chairman insinuated that any APC member not aligned with the leadership of Otunba Jumoke Ogunkeyede was having illegal assembly, while the statement also buttressed by ward 5 chairman who stated clearly that 80percent of APC were fully in support of JMK’s leadership with other wards chairmen as they passed vote of confidence on JMK.
Hon. Tomilayo Aloba reiterated that His Excellency, Governor Gboyega Oyetola has given his word during invitation of Obokun leaders in the presence of his Deputy, Dr Benedict Alabi, SSG, Dr. Charles Oyebanji, the State Party Chairman, Hon. Prince Gboyega Famodun, that His Excellency confided in the leadership of Otunba Jumoke Ogunkeyede.
The Obokun Local Government party leader, Otunba Jumoke Ogunkeyede also inaugurated Chairmen for the Leaders’ Forum at the Obokun APC Local Government Joint Meeting held at ward 1, Ibokun, Obokun LGA, today.
The Leaders’ Forum chairmen appointed were Comr. Otegbayo Oyebanji and Hon. Adeola Agbaje popularly called (D GOV), Hon. Jumoke Ogunkeyede as acting Chairman of Ward 8 in replace the Former Chairman, Alhaji Ismael Kehinde who died few months ago.
Otunba Jumoke Ogunkeyede further appreciated the immeasurable support rendered by the progressive members, leaders of Obokun All Progressive Congress.
In attendance at the meeting were Obokun Council Chairman, Hon. Ishola Olalekan (Chop Chicken), Obokun Council Chairman from Obokun Central, Hon. Barrister Olatunde Adejoke, All Obokun Councillors, Youth Leaders, Women Leaders, Otunba Jumoke Ogunkeyede (JMK), Hon. Muyiwa Ige, Hon. Orunmuyiwa, Hon. Ekundayo Former Obokun Vice Chairman, Hon. Bosun Oyintiloye, Hon. Oluayeni, Hon. Oluseyi, Hon. Owoeye, Tpl Olanipekun, Baba Adeosun, Alhaji Fatomide, Iya Loja General.
Others were, Feg Agro Emiola Ogunsanya; Party Chairmen from the two local Governments, Hon. Femi Aloba, Hon. Arigbede, Hon. Nathaniel Agunbiade, Prince Ademola Adeyeye, Apostle John Ajayi, Rev. Bisi Ojo, Comr. Oluwole Ojo and a host of others.
