Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has said he is not disturbed over the decision of former Governor Ibikunle Amosun to support the ADC candidate, Biyi Otegbeye in the state 2023 governorship poll.
Amosun during a BBC Yoruba interview, had reiterated his decision not to work for Governor Abiodun to realize a second term in office.
The former governor, also said he would work for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s presidential project, while declaring the ADC candidate as his governorship candidate.

Governor Abiodun speaking at a combined ward meeting of APC members in the Ado Odo Ota local government area, said that God would again surprise Amosun as in the 2019 governorship poll.
Abiodun said he would remain focused, and looked ahead towards a successful re-election, reminding Amosun how his preferred candidate lost out woefully during the 2019 polls.
The governor said it was unfortunate for Amosun who could not work to become a candidate of Ogun state APC in the 2023 polls, to claim that he would work against his re-election.

Former Governor Ibikunle Amosun has openly back the Ogun State ADC governorship candidate, Barrister Biyi Otegbeye, ahead of the 2023 governorship poll.
Amosun, however, will back the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in the 2023 polls.
