High Chief Olakunle felicitates  Chief Alani Bankole on his new Chieftaincy title

The Asiwaju of Orile Imo, High Chief Dr.  Olakunle Olalekan has celebrated with Chief Suarau Alani Bankole, the father of the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole on his conferment  as the “Apena” of Egba Land.

The Egba high chief who is now the Apena of Egba land is a businessman and politician.

Chief Olakunle in a congratulatory statement signed by his media aide, Osoba Olajide and made available to newsmen described the Egba chief as a man of the people, saying that he has contributed immensely to the development of Egba Land.

The Asiwaju of Orile Imo maintained that the father of ex speaker deserves the title, saying that he is bridge builder.

He described the chieftaincy title conferment  as a welcome development, stressing that he is a man of capacity and will deliver on this new task of leadership added to him.

The statement reads ” Chief Surau Alani Bankole is a  man of capacity, I know that this traditional chieftaincy title will spur him to do more for the growth and development of Egba Land.

“The conferment of Chief Alani Bankole as Apena of Egba land is a welcome development in Egba Land.

“I congratulate Chief Bankole on his chieftaincy title as the Apena of Egba Land. I congratulate you on behalf of the people of Orile Imo, Obafemi Owode Local Government, i pray may God give you wisdom and the needed strength to contribute your quota for the advancement of the Egba Land.
