A dispatch motorcycle rider on his way for delivery who was hit by a Toyota camry at Roban Junction, Awka has been rescued by Governor Willie Obiano.
The Governor was on his usual monitoring exercise around Awka when he witnessed the scene and had to stop his convoy to render help.
The medical team and the ambulance attached to the Governor’s convoy had to convey the victim to the hospital.
Meanwhile, around the areas so far monitored by the Governor, economic activities are gradually returning as most banks along Ziks Avenue were open, as well as some banks along the Expressway.
However, visible economic activities were observed at Eke Awka market and environs.
