Governor Aiyedatiwa Congratulates APC, Okpebholo on Edo Election Win

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has expressed his congratulations to the All Progressives Congress (APC) following the victory of Monday Okpebholo, the party’s governorship candidate in Edo State.

In a statement issued in Akure by his spokesperson, Ebenezer Adeniyan, Aiyedatiwa described the party’s success in the recent election as “well deserved.”

The governor praised President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, which he believes ensured a free and fair electoral process.

“I want to congratulate our party, the APC, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and Hon. Dennis Idahosa on the well-deserved victory in the just concluded governorship election in Edo State,” he stated.

Aiyedatiwa continued, “I join millions of our party faithful to give glory to God for granting us a peaceful victory to reclaim Edo into the fold of the progressives where it clearly belongs.”

He also thanked President Tinubu for his exemplary leadership, which he credited for the successful conduct of the elections.

“I commend our party’s leadership headed by the National Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, as well as the national and state campaign committees of the party for the efforts they put in to achieve the much-needed victory,” he added.

The governor further urged the newly elected governor to transform governance in Edo State by implementing progressive policies and programs that will positively impact the lives of its residents.
